Prof. Dr. Shahzad Ali Khan, Vice Chancellor, Health Services Academy (HSA), Islamabad, called on Mr. Asim Khan Goraya, Executive Director, Pakistan Institute for Parliamentary Services (PIPS), at his office on 3rd February 2026.

During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Shahzad Ali Khan expressed his desire in establishing institutional collaboration between HSA and PIPS, particularly in areas of health policy development, legislative research and capacity building for parliamentarians.
The Executive Director, Mr. Asim Khan Goraya, welcomed his visit and reaffirmed PIPS’s commitment to promoting knowledge partnerships that strengthen parliamentary understanding and oversight of health-related legislative and policy frameworks.
The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to advance collaborative efforts that support evidence-based, inclusive and sustainable health policy interventions through enhanced parliamentary engagement and academic cooperation in advancing Pakistan’s health sector.
